Just a quick blog post today on an upcoming conference: the U.S. Department of Energy’s ARPA-E (Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy) is hosting an Energy Innovation Summit in Washington D.C. this March 1-3.
Keynotes include Energy Secretary Steven Chu, GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, author and NY Times columnist Thomas Friedman, and a range of other government and industry leaders.
This sounds like a great opportunity for MEMS companies involved in energy harvesting and generation to showcase their technology as part of the solution to our planet’s energy problems. A one-day workshop is also available for anyone wanting to know more about partnering with or applying for funding from ARPA-E. For more information, visit the Energy Innovation Summit website.
If any of you MEMSbloggers attend the summit, be sure to share your experiences with us!
